Congratulations to Nathan who was recently crowned the winner of History Channel’s ALONE Season 12.

We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Nathan Olsen on our documentary project.

Nathan will serve as a research consultant as well as an interview subject, and his expert background as both a Wilderness parent alumnus and a professional in the field will add yet another layer of credibility to the film.

Co-directors Vince Dixon and Mark Strauss both won awards at the 2025 Film Invasion LA festival in June:

• Mark Strauss - Grand Jury Award for Best TV Pilot Screenplay: Nancy

Since documentary projects rely heavily on the same story structure we see in narrative film and TV, Vince, Mark, and the rest of the team are looking forward to telling the truth about Wilderness Therapy in a powerfully engaging way. 

Vince Dixon and Mark Strauss were invited to present at the annual Wilderness Symposium and Utah Regional meeting in Salt Lake City Utah. Following an presentation about the film, Vince and Mark participated in an in-depth Q&A with attendees. Topics discussed were the current state of Outdoor Behavioral Health, how the field is evolving, the value of telling all sides of story in our documentary and the impact that will have on public perception.
